Children of Prisoners: I will Never Give-Up on Hockey

My Father is in Prison. My life is always under a dark cloud. I am broken. I do not know how long I can hold on. I am losing faith. I am always blaming my father and myself for my fate.
I have a dream. I feel I can make it big with Hockey. When I told this- All LAUGHED at me. It hurt. When I told this to Jason Anna, he gifted me and my sister a Hockey stick and said, “You are born to be a Hockey Player. You were meant to be on the Hockey Field. This moment is yours.” Now I and my sister play everyday at school, home and TOURNAMENTS. Now I feel I am incredible. I feel I can make this world a little bit more wonderful. I have so much potential and so many things left to do. Better things are coming in my way.
I hated every minute of my life. But after I got my own Hockey Bat and started training, I said I will never QUIT. If I suffer now, I will live the rest of my life as a Hockey Champion.
You will soon hear: Me and My Sister representing Our Indian Hockey Team. Thanks Jason Anna.
Friends let’s not kill children’s dreams, even if they are the children of Prisoners. Three children of a Prisoner and two children of another Prisoner shared their liking towards Hockey. All we did at JK Foundation was gift five children with Hockey Bats, Balls and a spoon full of motivation.
All that Children of Prisoners need is
A Little Help,
A Little Hope, and
Someone who believes in them.
