Muthiah had three sons, their family life was rocky with Muthiah having quarrels with his wife. This led to an incident and the Muthiah’s wife died and Muthiah was alleged to have executed the murder. Because of this, the father was taken away leaving the life of children uncared for. When we heard of the plight of the three boys we along with some friends in the legal fraternity helped to resurrect the case and during the trial, we insisted the lawyer to highlight the plight of the children in the specific case. The Judge was aghast to find that in cases, such as these ‘where the father gets imprisoned’ – the plight of the children is not given a thought. None tends to look into it and nobody thinks on what happens to the children, after the imprisonment of the father. The Judge thanked us for putting light on the darker side of the life of these children. Resulting the revelation the Judge ordered the three little boys to be placed in care-giving homes and that their regular monitoring must be done our organisation and that we must provide a report of it and also approach the court for any other support needed. The boys are now faring well and face the world with more confidence.
